Meadows Community Association

Prospect Hill Scout Group

Prospect Hill Scout Group;

Scouts have been a part of Prospect Hill and Meadows Community for nearly 70 years and continue to provide an opportunity for our young people to socialize in a constructive way. Currently we have three sections operating which provide a range of activities for those aged from 6 to 15.

When most people think of Scouting they think of uniforms, rituals, knots, knots and more knots, but that's only part of today's Scouting. There are new friends, camps, games, cooking, hikes, excursions to places of interest and more. Older Scouts are able to try more adventurous activities such as archery or kayaking for example.

From Joeys (6 to 8 yrs) through Cubs (8 to 11 years) and on to Scouts (11 to 15 years) they are provided with age appropriate opportunities to learn new skills and interact with their environment and community. They are encouraged to take responsibility for themselves and ultimately for others as well. What's more they will also be having a lot of fun on the way!

If you feel your child or someone you know would like to have a look at what Scouting has to offer then please contact us.
