Meadows Community Association

Meadows Netball Club

The upcoming 2013 season will mark our club’s 65th year of competition and so it is not surprising that our club has a proud and successful past boasting countless finals appearances, many junior and senior grade premierships, association Representative team selections and association “Best & Fairest” awards. Through the years, these successes along with the Meadows fighting team spirit and love of the game have earned us the respect and admiration of rival clubs.

Our club has been associated with the Southern Hills Netball Association since 1981 providing competition from April to September for new to experienced juniors and seniors players. Since 2011, we have also supported two senior teams in the Hills Football League Netball Association.

We are a family-orientated club that encourages a love of the game of netball. The core objectives of our club are to provide a safe and inclusive environment for all participants to develop their skills, improve fitness, develop long lasting friendships and have fun.

We warmly welcome women and girls of all ages, abilities and backgrounds into our netball family. We encourage young boys under the age of 12 years to come along to learn, play and enjoy the sport of netball and through our participation in the Net Set Go programme we offer younger children, aged from 5yrs to 8yrs a chance learn the skills of netball in a fun way.

The Meadows Netball Club is now actively encouraging people to get involved in the exciting sport of netball. So whether you’re new to netball, thinking of getting back into the game or maybe looking for a new club we sincerely hope you will contact us to find out more.

We would especially like to hear from any experienced players, umpires and coaches for the upcoming 2013 winter season.
