The market was previously managed by the Lions club (around 1994) before the Scouts took over then finally resting with the Meadows Memorial Hall Committee

The market has grown from about 18 stalls in 2004 to todays 70 stalls. Funds raised by the Meadows Country Market are used for hall maintenance.
